Catfish Tournaments in Mid-Missouri

Spring is almost here which means spring fishing tournament season is upon us. There are several catfish tournaments near Lebanon, Mo. If you want to try your hand at tournament fishing this year, Central Missouri Catfish Tournaments has several tournaments scheduled throughout 2020! Read on to get a schedule of their upcoming catfish tournaments.


Rules for All Tournaments by Central Missouri Catfish Tournaments 

Entry fee $140 per boat. $20 from entry fee goes to big fish pot.

  • 6 rods n reels in use at any time (may have spares in the boat)
  • 1,2, or 3 adults per boat, still 6 rod total, kids do not count.
  • 5 fish weigh in, blue cats, flatheads, and channel cat species.
  • All fish must be alive at weigh in.
  • All fish must be released after weigh in.
  • All live wells must be checked at registration.
  • No stringers.
  • Fish can be weighed in early, early fish will be weighed, pictured and released. Once weighed in, fish count towards final weigh in.
  • No fishing within 50 yards of another boat.
  • Paint sticks must be turned in by the designated time, not 1 minute late or boat is disqualified.
  • Day tournament hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm
  • Night tournaments hours are 7 pm to 8 am
  • Payout.. 1st place- 50% 2nd pace 30%. 3rd place 20% ( subject to change if boat count is low)
  • Registration starts 2 hours before take off time. Mandatory captains meeting 30 minutes before launch.
  • Life jackets must be worn at launch.
  • Take off order will be determined by order of registration entries
  • No pre-fishing day of the tournament. (Can catch Bait)
  • No trailering allowed. You may fish from any water that you can reach by boat from designated launch ramp.
  • All conservation rules, state laws, and federal laws apply.
  • Any protest must be made before the awards ceremony begins. Any protest must be given to Shane Wyatt in writing. No protests will be considered or discussed after awards ceremony.
  • Do not erase gps trails and way points until after awards ceremony.
  • In case of a tie, big fish will determine the winner.
  • Central Missouri Catfish Tournaments will not be responsible for any accidents, thefts, or damage at any tournament.
  • Anyone caught cheating will be punished to the fullest extent of the law!
  • Lake Ozark Only... 2 blues over the slot. Any number of blues under (5 fish weigh-in).. channel cats and flatheads any size.
