All You Need to Know about the Central Missouri Catfish Tournament

At LSK Lebanon, we believe in supporting our local community. Therefore, we are proud sponsors of the Central Missouri Catfish Tournament that will be held in Lake of the Ozarks. The tournament will be at the Coffman Beach access located on the north shore of Lake of the Ozarks. Learn all about the tournament in this week’s blog. 



The tournament will be held on November 17th, 2019 from 7 am - 3:30 pm. The entry fee is $120 per boat with $10 of the fee going to the big fish pot. The payout will be as follows: 1st place will receive 50% of the pot, 2nd place will receive 30% of the pot, and 3rd place will receive 20% of the pot. The payouts are subject to change is the boat count is low. 

Here are the rules for the tournament:
     6 rods n reels in use at any time (may have spares in the boat)
     1,2, or 3 adults per boat, still 6 rod total, kids do not count.
     5 fish weigh-in, blue cats, flatheads, and channel cat species.
     All fish must be alive at the weigh-in.
     All fish must be released after weigh-in.
     All live wells must be checked at registration.
     No stringers.
     Fish can be weighed in early, early fish will be weighed, photographed and released. Once weighed in, fish count towards final weigh-in. 
     No fishing within 50 yards of another boat.
     Paint sticks must be turned in by the designated time, not 1 minute late or boat is disqualified.
     Day tournament hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm
     Night tournaments hours are 7 pm to 8 am
     Registration starts 2 hours before take-off time. Mandatory captains meeting 30 minutes before launch.
     Life jackets must be worn at launch.
     Take off order will be determined by order of registration entries
     No pre-fishing day of the tournament. (Can catch Bait)
     No trailering allowed. You may fish from any water that you can reach by boat from the designated launch ramp.
     All conservation rules, state laws, and federal laws apply.
     Any protest must be made before the awards ceremony begins. Any protest must be given to Shane Wyatt in writing. No protests will be considered or discussed after the awards ceremony.
     Do not erase GPS trails and waypoints until after awards ceremony.
     In the case of a tie, big fish will determine the winner.
     Central Missouri Catfish Tournaments will not be responsible for any accidents, thefts, or damage at any tournament.
     Anyone caught cheating will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

LSK Lebanon has upped the ante for those fishermen who have purchased a boat from LSK. If you place in a boat purchased at LSK you will receive an additional $200 for the biggest fish and or 1st place. If you place 2nd or 3rd place in one of our boats, you will receive an additional $100. Not to mention we have added an additional $250 in sponsorship for the winner.
