HISTORY OF MISTY HARBOR

Since the inception, Misty Harbor has been a family-owned company.  The family has been proudly building boats in the United States for 30 years.  They celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2018.  The exclusive production of a very well-known regional performance pontoon, the "SkiToon", started in 1989.  Misty converted its production of toons to the popular cylinder tubes in 1992.  The cylinder toons are standard in the marine industry for pontoon boats.  In 1993 the production plant for Misty Harbor moved from Humboldt, Iowa to Fort Dodge, Iowa.  Fort Dodge is still the home of the 115,000 square foot facility where all the magic happens.  Since the early 90's Misty Harbor has grown from a small regional manufacturer with only a handful of dealers to worldwide distribution.  However, with the growth, Misty Harbor continues to maintain their commitment to providing customers quality-built boats that have proven to be the best value someone can purchase today.  Misty Harbor now offers 50 different pontoon models from their Elite, Skye, Biscayne Bay, Adventure, and Explorer series.  Customers have their choice of a 14 to 26-foot-long deck. 

MODELS OFFERED BY MISTY HARBOR

Elite Series

 Elite Series is the most luxurious pontoon boat, built to perfection.  There are three models within the Elite Series:  Elite E3P, Elite E6VW, and the Elite E6W. All three models offer a 23- or 26-foot option with a beam of 8 foot 6 inches.   With class, elegance, and comfort the Elite E3P is perfect for an evening cruise, a party, or a day of fishing.  The Elite E6VW has the unique v seating and is the perfect party boat.  With the classic interior, the Elite E6W is total luxury and stands out in this series. 


Skye Series

 The Skye Series is Misty’s high-end boating experience with all the comforts from home.  The Skye Series offers models with options of 23 or 26 ft.  With the Skye SL, you can expect to lounge, relax, and take it easy.  The Skye SU is one of the popular pontoon boats anywhere.  Sit backward, forward or both in the Skye SBC.  The Skye SC comes with dual co-captain seats and has tons of space for passengers.  You can entertain the entire party and relax at the bar with the Skye SE and finally, the Skye QT has a layout like a ski boat. 


Biscayne Bay Series

With 8 model options in this series, there is something from everyone.  The Biscayne Series has options from 16 feet up to 25 feet.  If you are looking for the boat that has enough seating for everyone you might want to check out the Biscayne Bay CU.  The Biscayne Bay FS and RF series are both perfect options for fishermen.  The Biscayne Bay BC offers dual co-captain seats while the Biscayne Bay CB offers backward and forward seating.  If you are looking for the perfect view the Biscayne Bay RL comes with rear lounge seats.  While the Biscayne Bay CS layout has plenty of storage and room to relax, the Biscayne Bay CE is a boat where the party happens. 


Adventure Series

 The Adventure series offers great fishing options.  The Adventure FF, Adventure CC, and the Adventure CF all offer great layouts and options for the perfect fishing trip.  These models range from 18 feet up to 25 feet for the CF.  Adventure RU has a great seating layout for pontoon boats while the Adventure CR offers room to move around and store all your water toys. 

Explorer Series

 The Explorer Series is built for small waters with 14,16, and 18-foot options.  The 4 models are Explorer EF, FC, CR, and CF.  These models are great for fishing while the CR is easy to maneuver and has plenty of room for everyone.
