Upcoming Missouri Fishing Tournaments You Don't Want To Miss

If you look hard enough, it's very likely you can find a fishing tournament going on somewhere near our mid-Missouri boat dealership every single weekend. The more time you can find to get away, the longer the list of tournaments you'll want to have on hand. Today LSK Lebanon will take a closer look at a few that you might want to look into. Big Bass Bash
This is one of the largest bass fishing tournaments in the nation. They take place in 3 locations; Grand Lake in Oklahoma, Pickwick/Wilson Lake in Alabama, and Lake of the Ozarks right here in Missouri. It's a "big money" tournament that strives to give the amateur angler a chance to compete. They have given away millions of dollars since 2006 and plan to pay out over three-quarters of a million dollars in 2019! 

• April 27-28: Lake of the Ozarks
• June 1-2: Pickwick Lake
• June 8-9: Grand Lake
• October 5-6: Lake of the Ozarks

Anglers In Action
The Anglers in Action Tournament Trail is one of the largest Bass Tournament Trails in the Midwest and events take place throughout the year. You may choose to fish in Missouri at Lake of the Ozarks or Table Rock Lake, Grand Lake in Oklahoma, or the Open Division where you make your own schedule.

Cash prizes are awarded at each event but if you can fish your way to the year-end Anglers in Action Tournament of Champions, first place is a brand new Ranger boat package. This tournament gives you the chance to qualify for the Bassmaster Team Championship and maybe even make your way to fish in the Bassmaster Classic.

Cabela's Big Bass Tour

Unlike traditional bass fishing tournaments where your top 5 fish are weighed at the end of the day, this one gives amateur anglers from every skill level the chance to win cash payouts each day during hourly weigh-ins. There are 7 hourly weigh-ins each tournament day, each one with ten cash payouts. That's 210 cash prizes over 3 days! The grand prize winner at the end of the event will win a brand new, fully rigged Nitro Z19 powered by Mercury 200 HP. These tournaments are hosted across the country and the one taking place at Table Rock Lake happens April 5-7.
